Contact form

If you send the form, we store your name, email address, company if you gave one, and your message. We use that to answer you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR when you ask about a product, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for our interest in answering inquiries. Name, email and message are required for a reply. Company is optional. If you leave the required fields empty, we cannot answer through the form. We keep a message until the conversation is finished. Where it is business correspondence, § 257 of the German Commercial Code can require six years and § 147 of the Fiscal Code ten years. We delete it when the conversation is finished and any such period has ended.

Messages are stored in a Supabase Postgres database in Frankfurt (eu-central-1), operated by Supabase Inc., 970 Toa Payoh North #07-04, Singapore 318992. Their privacy notice is at supabase.com/privacy. The database is not open to the public. The website server writes the row. Visitors cannot read the table. Storage is in the EU. Supabase is a company in Singapore. If Supabase accesses the data from outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the EU standard contractual clauses in Supabase’s data processing addendum.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. from a Cloudflare Worker. Cloudflare processes connection data such as IP address and user agent to deliver the page and to protect the service. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Cloudflare, Inc. is a company in the United States, so this connection data can be processed outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare’s data processing addendum states that Cloudflare complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and includes the EU standard contractual clauses (cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa). Request logs, including connection data, are kept in Cloudflare Workers Observability so we can operate and protect the site. We do not copy them into another archive. Colour mode

The appearance control keeps your choice in the browser’s local storage under the name nuxt-color-mode. The stored value is only light or dark. We use it solely to show the site in the appearance you selected. It is not a cookie and it is not used for advertising or analytics. Storing it is covered by § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG as part of the appearance you set with that control, and by Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The site default is light, and that default is not kept in storage. This site does not set a tracking or marketing cookie.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data. Where Art. 20 GDPR applies, you can ask for a copy in a commonly used electronic format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). We do not rely on consent for the processing on this page, so there is no consent to withdraw. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use profiling. You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz (datenschutz.rlp.de).
